If a society is
judged by what it leaves the next generation…so ok they will never pay off our
deficit but they can be wearing fleece and eVent or Gore-Tex shells, and Capilene
undies while they try (staying toasty and dry). And with global warming future
generations may all develop a new fondness for all the high wicking fabrics our
generation has left. And us boomers with our aching backs from bearing the
social responsibility of creating a society that none of us want to live in need
gear as light as possible. I want to help you, really. I am not a gear snob. In
fact, I will encourage you to go camping with almost nothing. We have become
conditioned that we can’t do anything without all the proper gear…life
becomes the most interesting when you are unsure of the outcome…but then again
since I am not one for self imposed hardship go ahead… crack open that wallet,
dig deep and buy the best gear you can’t afford. Most importantly buy it
through my site… buy a lot; buy often…in fact my mantra is, “buy or
die”...

Your's truly packin up his gear
for a sea kayaking trip....
